Marking Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, the Prime Minister led the National Unity Day parade and administered the unity pledge, reaffirming the nation's commitment to integrity and internal security. In a post on X, he hailed Sardar Patel's vision and leadership in uniting over 560 princely states. President Droupadi Murmu and Union Home Minister Amit Shah also paid homage, describing Patel as the "Iron Man of India" and a symbol of national unity. State leaders, including Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, joined the nation in celebrating Patel's enduring legacy.
