Goa, May 11 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level security meeting in New Delhi, attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, the Chief of Defence Staff, and the Army, Navy, and Air Force chiefs. The meeting followed a deadly terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir and subsequent ceasefire violations by Pakistan.
The top-level discussion focused on the security situation along the India-Pakistan border, military preparedness, and diplomatic strategies in response to the rising tensions.
