Goa, Oct. 16 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will celebrate this Diwali with Indian Navy personnel off the Goa coast. The visit is set to honour the success of Operation Sindoor, India's counterstrike following the Pahalgam terror attack.

Since assuming office in 2014, PM Modi has traditionally spent Diwali with armed forces personnel across the country. Past visits include the Siachen Glacier (2014), Dograi War Memorial, Punjab (2015), Sumdo, Himachal Pradesh (2016), Gurez sector, Jammu & Kashmir (2017), and several other key military locations.
