Goa, July 12 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking virtually at the Rozgar Mela on Saturday, asserted that inequality in India is decreasing rapidly, with the nation making steady progress toward greater equality and opportunity. Citing a recent World Bank report, he said India is now being recognised globally as one of the most equitable nations.
The Rozgar Mela, a key government initiative to boost employment, saw over 51,000 appointment letters distributed-Indian Railways alone contributed more than 40,000 posts. PM Modi highlighted how such initiatives are empowering the youth and accelerating economic growth.
