Goa, Dec. 5 -- IndiGo's operational crisis stretched into its third day on Friday, with more than 750 flights cancelled nationwide, following over 550 cancellations on Thursday. The worst-hit was Delhi, where the airline scrapped all 235 scheduled flights for the day, causing massive disruption for thousands of travellers. Operations in Chennai are also expected to face delays and cancellations until 6 pm, while Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad continued to struggle with widespread flight disruptions.India's largest airline has blamed the chaos on an acute pilot shortage, worsened by the demands of the winter schedule.
