Goa, June 6 -- Residents and commuters in Seraulim are facing growing frustration as the LC-45 subway underpass remains persistently flooded, exposing serious flaws in local road engineering and maintenance. Even after the rains subsided on Friday, waterlogging continued to render the underpass virtually unusable for daily traffic, creating a hazardous situation especially during the monsoon season.
The flooding poses a particular challenge to emergency services. Ambulances and other critical vehicles are forced to take long detours through village roads, potentially delaying urgent medical care and risking lives.
