Goa, April 16 -- Pernem Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Samir Korgaonkar following allegations of assaulting a minor girl. The case has been filed under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), the Goa Children's Act, and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Authorities have confirmed that all legal provisions related to the protection of children and marginalized communities are being thoroughly applied as the probe continues.
