RAIA: Peidadegal secured a commanding 4-1 win over Batora United to book their place in the semi-finals of 2nd Caniza Peixoto memorial football tournament organised by Black Arrow Boys Agxem Sports Club at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Friday.
Batora United drew their first blood in the 6th minute when Granville Barretto slotted home a well-placed shot. Peidadegal responded strongly with James Fernandes narrowly missing the target in the 10th minute. However, he made no mistake in the 18th minute, scoring a fine glancing header to level the score at 1-1.
