Goa, April 3 -- In a shocking hit-and-run incident, a pedestrian was injured after being struck by a speeding vehicle at New Vaddem. According to the police, the incident took place on the slope leading towards the New Vaddem residential area.

The accused, identified as Romeo, a resident of New Vaddem, was reportedly driving his car in a rash and negligent manner when the collision occurred. Romeo was traveling from GSL Vaddem towards New Vaddem when he allegedly hit Manoj Sharma, who was walking on the left side of the road.

Following the incident, the driver reportedly fled the scene, abandoning the victim. The police have launched an investigation to apprehend the accused, and efforts are underway to trace the vehicle involved. Autho...
