Pedda Boys scrapped past spirited Kosu Boys 2-1 to clinch the Calsious Clay Fernandes memorial inter-ward football trophy organised by United Club Benaulim at the Ximbu Moll ground, Benaulim, recently.Pedda Boys made a bright start but Faisal Bepari was unable to find the goal from a close range many a time. Kosu Boys goalkeeper Joshua also made some fine saves.After the breather, Pedda Boys netted two quick goals in the space of three minutes through the boots of Calsius Fernandes and Joebern Maku.Kosu Boys fought back and reduced the margin when Mark Fernandes sent the ball home from inside the box.
