Goa, Oct. 21 -- Jammu and Kashmir's first cricketer to play for India, Parvez Rasool, announced his retirement from cricket on Monday, pledging to "guide youngsters" and continue to "play for passion."
Rasool made his India debut in 2014 against Bangladesh in an ODI, taking the wickets of then-captain Mushfiqur Rahim and Anamul Haque in 10 overs. He returned to the national dressing room in 2017 for his T20I debut against England but did not get further opportunities thereafter.
