Goa, May 28 -- Residents of Parsem are up in arms over the deteriorating condition of the main road, which has become nearly unmotorable following ongoing underground water pipeline work. The situation has prompted local citizens to consider staging a dharna (protest) at the Public Works Department (PWD) office if immediate repairs are not undertaken.

Community leaders and concerned citizens gathered recently to voice their frustration. Social worker Devendra Prabhudesai, former panchayat member Gurudas Pande, and local activist Chintamani Polji addressed the crowd, highlighting the hardships faced by daily commuters, schoolchildren, and the elderly due to the damaged road.
