PONDA, Dec. 10 -- After the conclusion of the 37th National Games, the swimming pool at Curti, Ponda has been abruptly closed due to the sudden discovery that the water in the pool is contaminated.

The closure has inconvenienced children undergoing training, prompting parents to call on Sports Minister Govind Gaude to intervene and initiate the reopening of a new swimming facility.
