Goa, Jan. 5 -- Villagers of Para-Maye have once again blocked the transportation of ore from the Salgaonkar Mining Company, protesting against the alleged exclusion of local truck owners. At present, nearly 100 trucks from the truck association are operating at the mine, but villagers claim that not a single truck belonging to Para village residents has been engaged for transportation work. The agitating villagers have taken to the streets demanding that priority be given to local truck drivers.
