Para-athlete Sakshi bags gold, makes Goa proud

RAIA: Goa's para-athlete sensation Sakshi Kale won the gold medal in T-13 100m athletics at the Khelo India Para Games 2025, the second edition of multi-sport para event under the Central government's Khelo India initiative, underway in New Delhi.

She is the only para-athlete to win gold medal for Goa.

In February, at the 23rd National Para Athletics Championship 2025, held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai, in T-12 category, she won two gold medals in 100m and 200m and silver medal in long jump.

In March, at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix, New Delhi, Sakshi won silver medal in 100m.
