Goa, Oct. 28 -- The Panjim Smart City electric bus services resumed operations on Wednesday after drivers called off their strike following an assurance that their pending payments would be cleared by this evening.

All 48 drivers, who had failed to report for duty earlier, returned to work, restoring normal public transport services across the capital. The strike on Tuesday had brought the city's Smart City bus operations to a halt, causing significant inconvenience to commuters.

According to sources, officials from the Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Limited (IPSCDL) and the Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTC) held a meeting with the drivers and assured them that their salary dues will be settled without further delay.
