Goa, April 11 -- The new Patto bridge in Panjim will remain closed to traffic from April 11 to 14 to facilitate urgent repairs to its damaged expansion joints. Commuters are advised to follow temporary traffic diversions in place during the maintenance period.
To minimize inconvenience, two-way traffic will be permitted on the bridge during morning hours before repair work resumes later in the day.
Once repair work is underway, traffic entering Panjim will be rerouted via the old Patto bridge. Vehicles will take a right turn near Soho Club, proceed past Umesh Keni Petrol Pump, and connect to Dayanand Bandodkar (DB) Road.
