Goa, Dec. 11 -- Panjim Police have registered an FIR against Vaishnavi B.V., daughter of Vasuki B.T. and a resident of Mala, along with Rahul Jadhav, for allegedly cheating investors of Rs.5,95,400 through a fraudulent cryptocurrency scheme involving "ORIS coins."

According to the complaint, the accused duo allegedly lured the victims by promising high returns and dividends on investments in the digital currency. Police said the complainants were misled into parting with their money based on false assurances of substantial profits.
