Goa, July 17 -- Panjim has been honoured with the title of Cleanest City in the 20,000 to 50,000 population category at the Swachh Survekshan Awards 2024-25, solidifying its commitment to cleanliness and sustainable urban living.

The prestigious award was presented by President of India, Droupadi Murmu, during a grand ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The recognition comes as part of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs' annual cleanliness survey, which evaluates cities across India on parameters such as waste management, sanitation, public feedback, and innovation.
