Goa, Nov. 14 -- A Panaji traffic cell constable remains in a defiant position, as he still serves in the capital despite a formal transfer order eight months ago. The order, dated 10 February, instructed his transfer to the Calangute Police jurisdiction, but he stays at his Panaji posting. The transfer directive was signed by Dharmesh G.P. Angle, SP (Headquarters). Questions now arise as to why the constable continues to ignore this posting change and whether any political leaders are backing his actions. In Goa, proof exists of the official transfer order, yet the constable reportedly disregards his superiors' decision, sparking concerns about accountability and possible political interference in law enforcement procedures.
