India, Jan. 4 -- Two government-owned four-wheelers belonging to the Directorate of Panchayats were allegedly stolen from Caranzalem in Panaji, officials said. The vehicles were earlier used during a clean-up drive and were later parked near Camrabhat area, close to the International Hotel, where they remained unused for an extended period. On September 2, officials noticed that both vehicles were missing and immediately alerted the authorities. Following a complaint filed by the Director of Panchayats, the Panaji Police registered an FIR against unidentified persons and initiated an investigation.
