Goa, May 2 -- Pakistani troops have violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) for the eighth consecutive night, engaging in unprovoked firing across several districts in Jammu and Kashmir, including Kupwara, Baramulla, Poonch, Naushera, and Akhnoor, according to Indian military officials. In response, the Indian military has fired back in a measured and proportionate manner to defend the region.
