Goa, May 13 -- Pakistan's military confirmed that 11 of its armed forces personnel and 40 civilians were killed during a recent four-day military confrontation with India, which involved fighter jets, missiles, drones, and artillery. The conflict erupted after an attack in Indian-administered Kashmir on April 22, which India blamed on Pakistan, a claim Pakistan denied. India launched missile strikes on several Pakistani cities targeting alleged terrorist camps, while Pakistan responded by shooting down five Indian fighter jets and striking multiple Indian military bases. The confrontation resulted in significant casualties and damage on both sides, with Pakistan reporting 78 military personnel and 121 civilians injured.
