Goa, Dec. 29 -- Pakistan has, for the first time, publicly detailed the extent of damage caused by India's Operation Sindoor in May, acknowledging that strategic drone strikes hit a major military installation during the four-day conflict between the two nations.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar confirmed that Indian drones targeted the Nur Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi's Chaklala area, injuring personnel and damaging the facility.

"In a span of 36 hours, at least 80 drones were launched," Dar said at a year-end briefing, highlighting the scale of the operation. He added that Pakistan intercepted 79 of the 80 drones, but one managed to hit the key airbase.
