Goa, Dec. 20 -- The government's decision to grant a paid holiday to government offices during the Zilla Panchayat elections has drawn criticism from bank and cooperative society employees, who were not extended similar benefits. Employees voiced concern that the lack of even a half-day holiday made it difficult for many to cast their votes, demanding equal treatment during election days.
