Goa, Aug. 1 -- Delhi University (DU) on Friday launched its new academic session, welcoming both first-year students and those entering the optional fourth year of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP), which is being implemented in its entirety for the first time.

As part of the inaugural day, several colleges across DU conducted orientation programmes to help freshers navigate their new academic journey. At the same time, the university saw a strong response to the newly introduced fourth year under FYUP, with over 55% of eligible students choosing to continue.
