Goa, Jan. 23 -- Officials from multiple government departments on Thursday arrived at the proposed site for the Unity Mall project in Chimbel to carry out a joint inspection, even as protestors continued their indefinite strike opposing the development.

The inspection team visited the exact location earmarked for the construction of the mall, with police personnel deployed at the site to maintain law and order during the exercise.
