Nuvem Veterans pipped Siolim Veterans 1-0 to move ahead in the 1st All-Goa inter-village veteran football tournament organised by Nuvem Veterans at Nuvem Church ground, on Sunday. In the first half, Nuvem Veterans netted the goal through the boots of Marcus Carvalho, which proved to be the match winner. Few minutes later, Siolim Veterans came close to equalise through Rupesh but failed to net in. In the second session, Marcus and Joerose had couple of chances to score but missed out on opportunities.
