Goa, May 29 -- The Goa government has rolled out a key reform allowing nuclear families residing under the same roof to obtain separate house numbers without requiring property partition. Effective from Monday, all panchayats have been instructed to process such bifurcation requests within 15 days, free of charge.

This initiative enables families to secure individual water and electricity connections, as each bifurcated unit will be assigned a house number with a suffix-such as A, B, or C.
