Goa, Nov. 13 -- The North Goa Rent-a-Cab Association, along with All Goa Rent-a-Cab licence holders and members, held a meeting with officials from the Enforcement (North) and RTO Department, Panjim, to address pressing issues affecting the taxi industry.

During the meeting, the association raised two key concerns - the proliferation of illegal private vehicles operating commercially and the need to ensure that all vehicles given on rent are converted to proper Rent-a-Cab number plates in compliance with transport regulations.

Officials from the department, including the Director of Transport, assured members that the authorities would examine the issues raised and initiate appropriate action to curb irregularities.
