Goa, Nov. 17 -- A meeting convened today to decide on the no-confidence motion against Sarpanch Jayesh Naik and Deputy Sarpanch Eknath Parab concluded with the motion being passed unanimously. The proceedings were conducted under the supervision of BDO observer Hemant Gawas.

Both the Sarpanch and Deputy Sarpanch were absent during the meeting, paving the way for the motion to be moved without objection. All five members present voted in favour of the no-confidence motion, resulting in a clear 5-0 outcome.

With the motion now formally approved, the panchayat is expected to take up the process of appointing new office-bearers as per procedure. Further administrative steps will follow in accordance with panchayat regulations.
