India, Feb. 23 -- A delegation from Curchorem led by Nilesh Cabral met the Goa State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (GSEIAA) to express strong opposition to the proposed coal handling jetty in Assolda.

During the meeting, Cabral conveyed the concerns of local residents and stated that the project report contains inaccuracies. He further pointed out that the proposal has already been objected to by the local panchayat and lacks proper access infrastructure.
