Goa, Nov. 24 -- Curchorem MLA Nilesh Cabral has firmly clarified that he does not support the setting up of any coal jetty in his constituency. Responding to the public meeting held at Xelvona on Sunday, where residents voiced strong opposition to the proposed coal loading and unloading jetty, Cabral stated that he fully stands with the people on this issue. He stressed that the concerns of citizens must be respected and assured them that he will oppose the project. Cabral also added that even the two existing jetties in the area should not be used for coal operations.
