Goa, Dec. 1 -- Pernem Police have arrested Joseph Osuagwu Kelechi, a 40-year-old Nigerian national residing in Pethechawada, Korgao, for allegedly possessing a variety of narcotic substances.

According to officials, the accused was found with 13 Ecstasy tablets weighing 3.66 grams, 23.88 grams of charas, cash amounting to Rs.9,600, and a scooter. The total value of the seized items is estimated at around Rs.1.05 lakh.

Police said further investigation is underway to determine the source of the drugs and whether more individuals are involved in the alleged trafficking network.
