Goa, Nov. 17 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Sunday arrested an alleged accomplice of Dr. Umar Un Nabi, the man investigators have now described for the first time as the "suicide bomber" behind the deadly explosion near Delhi's Red Fort on November 10. The blast claimed 13 lives and sent shockwaves across the capital.
The accused, identified as Amir Rashid Ali from Samboora in Pampore, Jammu and Kashmir, was detained in Delhi six days after the attack. According to officials, Ali is believed to have played a significant role in planning the strike alongside Dr. Umar Un Nabi, who died when the car he was driving detonated.
NIA sources said that Ali had "conspired with the alleged suicide bomber to execute the terror attack...
