Goa, Dec. 9 -- An NGO has raised fresh concerns over alleged unchecked illegal activities at the Mapusa KTC Bus Stand, claiming that tobacco, gutka and cigarettes are being openly sold on the premises. The group said it apprehended a vendor on Tuesday evening with stock allegedly meant for sale inside the bus stand.
The NGO questioned whether anyone within the system was "taking a commission" to allow such sales, calling the situation a serious lapse in oversight by the supervisory staff of the Kadamba Transport Corporation Ltd (KTCL).
