Goa, April 15 -- The New Patto Bridge in Panjim has officially reopened to vehicular traffic after being partially closed for repairs since April 11. The bridge had undergone maintenance to address issues with its expansion joints, which had caused disruptions for commuters over the past few days.

According to officials, one side of the bridge has received a permanent fix, ensuring long-term structural stability. The opposite side, however, has been temporarily restored using metal plates placed over the affected joint, allowing traffic to resume while a more permanent solution is planned.
