India, Feb. 9 -- The newly constructed bus stand in Bicholim is in the final stages of completion and is likely to be inaugurated in April, Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GSIDC) Chairman and Calangute MLA Michael Lobo said on Monday.

Lobo, along with Bicholim MLA Dr Chandrakant Shetye, visited Bicholim and inspected the ongoing works at the new bus stand.

Speaking to reporters, Lobo said special efforts have been initiated after he took charge as GSIDC Chairman to complete around 70 pending new projects across the state. He explained that these efforts include promoting employees whose promotions were long pending, recruiting new staff in the technical department, and revitalising the workforce to speed up stalled projects.
