Goa, March 31 -- Nestle workers in Bicholim staged a protest today, voicing their frustration after being laid off and not being rehired, despite a court ruling in their favor. The protest was organized to highlight the company's failure to comply with the court's directive.
Janardhan Tamankar, leader of the workers' union, assured that they would ensure justice for the affected workers, demanding their reemployment. "We will look into the matter and ensure that there is no injustice on any of the workers. We demand that they are reemployed," Tamankar said.
