Goa, Nov. 2 -- India has clarified that its immigration authorities were not involved in stopping Nepali national Shambhavi Adhikari from travelling to Germany. Adhikari, who arrived in Delhi from Kathmandu, was denied boarding by Qatar Airways over visa validity concerns and sent back to Nepal. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) stated that the action was taken by the airline as per destination country rules. The ministry rejected allegations of bias, reaffirming India's strong ties with Nepal and emphasising that such transit matters are handled solely between the airline and the passenger.
