Goa, Sept. 12 -- Leaders of the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) lashed out at the Congress on Friday over an AI-generated video showing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's late mother expressing disapproval of politics being played in her name. The video was shared by the Congress's Bihar unit ahead of Modi's visit to the state on Monday.

Earlier, abusive remarks targeting the Prime Minister's mother during the "Vote Adhikaar Yatra" in Darbhanga had sparked controversy. Modi himself condemned the remarks, calling them an insult to "all mothers and sisters" that people of Bihar would not forget.
