India, Feb. 3 -- Former Congress Minority Chairman Nazir Khan has alleged that the newly constructed fish market built and operated by the Margao Municipal Council (MMC) is facing serious issues related to hygiene and management. Khan claimed that fish vendors, along with vegetable sellers, are operating on the staircases of the market complex, creating unhygienic conditions and inconvenience to visitors. He further alleged that the first floor of the market, which was designated for vegetable vendors, remains vacant and unused.
