Navelim Villagers Union pipped Raia Sporting Club 1-0 in the inaugural match of 8th Martin's Cup football tournament organised by Betalbatim Sporting Club at the Betalbatim panchayat ground, on Friday. Travis Souza scored the match winners. Earlier, Fr Agapito D'Cunha, parish priest of Betalbatim Church blessed and declared the tournament open, while little football enthusiastic Catlyn Pereira kick off the match.
