India, Feb. 9 -- National Deworming Day will be observed across Goa on February 10, 2026, as part of a nationwide health initiative. During the programme, children aged 1 to 2 years will be administered Albendazole tablets of 200 mg, while children between 2 and 19 years will receive Albendazole 400 mg. The drive aims to protect children from intestinal worm infections and improve overall health and nutrition. Parents have been asked to take note of the schedule and ensure participation. Teachers, Anganwadi workers, and health staff have been urged to extend full cooperation to make the campaign successful. The initiative is expected to benefit thousands of children across schools and Anganwadi centres in the state.
