Goa, March 8 -- Murida Veterans triumphed over Fatorda Veterans with a score of 5-4 in a thrilling tie-breaker, securing their spot in the quarter-finals of the 10th Fatorda Veterans Football Tournament held at Don Bosco Ground in Fatorda on Friday. Francisco Andrade netted two goals for Fatorda, while Claudio and Vitorin scored for Murida, leading to a penalty shootout to determine the winner.

In the end, Murida Veterans showcased their superior shooting skills during the tiebreaker. Succoro Azavedo, the goalkeeper for Murida, was honored as the man of the match by Joao Araujo.
