Goa, July 6 -- A heartbreaking case in Mumbai has raised serious concerns about the vulnerabilities faced by LGBTQ youth, after a 16-year-old boy died under suspicious circumstances and his 19-year-old male partner was arrested for alleged murder.

The incident came to light when the victim's father lodged a police complaint, alleging that the older teen had poisoned his son by spiking a soft drink. The accused was taken into custody, and authorities are currently awaiting forensic reports to confirm the cause of death and advance the investigation.
