Goa, June 30 -- Porvorim Police have arrested a man from Mumbai for allegedly duping a local resident of Rs.9.50 lakh in an elaborate online job scam promising easy income for completing Google reviews.

The accused, identified as Jagdish Bokoliya, reportedly lured the victim by offering Rs.40 per Google review and instructed them to use the Telegram app to receive "tasks." Police said the fraudsters gradually gained the victim's trust and convinced them to make multiple payments via GPay and ATM transfers, claiming the money was needed to unlock higher rewards and process withdrawals.
