Goa, Dec. 5 -- A multi-vehicle collision on the Mandovi bridge caused major disruption after a goods carrier rammed into a car, triggering a chain reaction involving four vehicles. The impact left a woman and a young girl on a two-wheeler with minor injuries, while the vehicles suffered significant damage. Sources said the goods carrier driver fled the scene moments after the crash. Traffic on the bridge slowed heavily as emergency teams and police arrived to manage the situation and clear the damaged vehicles. An investigation is underway to identify the absconding driver.
