Goa, Dec. 11 -- Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sadanand Shet Tanavade on Thursday raised an urgent call in Parliament for immediate improvements to the Goa-Belagavi National Highways, particularly the stretches passing through Anmod Ghat and Chorla Ghat. He stressed that these routes serve as lifelines for both Goa and Karnataka, carrying thousands of passengers, agricultural produce and essential goods every day.

Highlighting the deteriorating condition of the roads, Shri Tanavade noted that several sections remain narrow, landslide-prone and frequently blocked during the monsoon.
