PANJIM, May 26 -- A majority of people who arrived on domestic flights and trains on Monday have opted for home quarantine and not TrueNAT testing.

Health Secretary Nila Mohanan, in her daily media briefing, said that till evening two of 13 scheduled flights had arrived. "While 10 were cancelled, one flight would arrive later in the evening," she stated.

Amongst the flight passengers, she said 26 out of 63, opted for TrueNAT screening while rest gave a declaration and went for home quarantine. "All 26 samples tested negative for COVID-19," she added.

Mohanan further said that nine passengers also disembarked from the Rajdhani Express. "Out of 9, six opted for home quarantine and three went for TrueNAT testing," she disclosed.
